Community Development
Mimika, Papua · 2025
In Mimika, local communities developed a community-based aquaculture facility intended to support productive activities, strengthen local participation, and create opportunities for sustainable livelihoods. PT. KPN stood with them as a supporter.
Local community members in Mimika led the work on site. Support included materials, technical assistance, logistics, and on-site collaboration — without overstating ownership of the full project. PT. KPN’s role was support, not ownership.

The community prepared and developed the site for the facility.

Aquaculture ponds and supporting structures took shape on community land.

Materials and equipment required for development were provided and coordinated — PT. KPN as supporter.
